Practicing Civility (South Whidbey Center)
Are you interested in all of the current chatter about CIVILITY? People signing CIVILITY PLEDGES? In this course, you will be introduced to an effective negotiation model that will help you to better manage uncivil encounters and to generate civil and productive social interactions. Later in the class, participants will be encouraged to engage in civil discourse with each other while active facilitation/mediation is provided by the instructor. Let us begin with ourselves in learning how we might heal the cultural and political rifts that surround us.

Ease Your Way to Taxes with Quicken (South Whidbey Center)
Learn to use this personal financial tool to organize all of your financial transactions. You’ll learn how to pay bills quickly, create a budget, manage your investments, generate reports, and transfer all of your financial information into a computer tax program. This five-session class uses the quicken program along with interactive screen shots, handouts, and step-by-step instruction to help you understand both the program and your finances. There will be time in each session for YOUR questions! Make tax time easy and less painful!
