ctcLink at Skagit Valley College

New student self-service portal and mobile app launching Monday, Oct. 25!

Your college services will be easier to navigate and use and available online 24 hours a day. As we prepare, many services for students will be closed or have reduced hours in the weeks to come. More information is available at ctcLink.skagit.edu/ctcLink-students.

COVID-19 Updates

Reminder! Students who are enrolled in in-person classes must self-attest to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or request a medical or religious exemption by Nov. 8 using the following: Link to Student Attestation/Exemption form

If you are not fully vaccinated and do not have an approved exemption on file, you are eligible to enroll in online courses only. To enroll in online-only classes, you are required to complete the online-only declaration stating that you will remain exclusively online for the quarter for both classes and on-campus activities.

After October 25th, you will need to activate your ctcLink account to complete the attestation process in the student self-service. Any questions can be directed to Brooke Writer, SVC COVID-19 Coordinator, at [email protected]. Learn more about SVC COVID-19 updates and resources.

Limited Services

As SVC transitions to ctcLink, some departments will be operating with limited services or closures between Oct. 11-25. Please note the following temporary schedule changes in Enrollment Services and Financial Aid as we work to get our new systems up and running to serve you better:

Oct. 11:Closed

Oct. 12-14:Open 1-4 p.m.; Note: Whidbey Financial Aid will be closed Oct. 11-14 for cross-training on the MV Campus.

Oct. 15:Financial Aid Closed; Enrollment Services available remotely 9 a.m.–noon

Oct. 18:Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Oct. 19:Financial Aid Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Enrollment Services Open 1-4 p.m.

Oct. 20:Financial Aid Open noon–4 p.m.; Enrollment Services Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Oct 21:Financial Aid Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Enrollment Services Open Remotely 1-4 p.m.

Oct. 22:Open remote only 9 a.m.-noon

Note: Cashiering services will be closed Oct. 11–22 and reopening on Oct. 25 with limited in-person services available 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Mondays through Wednesdays.

Technology Resources Available!

SID & PIN Instructions

Your SID & PIN are required to access registration, payment & account tools. Your Student ID (SID) is a 9-digit assigned number given to you during the admissions process. Not sure? Look up your SID using the MySVC Student Toolbox.

Your default PIN is your birthday in MMDDYY format. For example, January 1st, 2007 would be: 010107. We suggest you change your PIN from the default for security reasons.

MySVC Edu Apps Login Instructions

These instructions are for logging into Canvas, MySVC email, docs, and calendar. Your MySVC Username is your first initial, last name, and the last four digits of your Student ID.

For Example: John Smith
SID # 740020987
Your username is: jsmith0987
NOTE: When logging in to Canvas or MySVC email, you need to enter your full email address as the username

There is no default MySVC password, you will have to assign yourself a password on the MySVC toolbox here: https://secure.skagit.edu/netpass.asp
