Introduction to oxy-fuel cutting and welding. Welding of structural steel plate in the flat position with emphasis on shop safety. Also covers air-carbon arc gouging.

  5. Use the oxy-fuel process to cut carbon steel plate to a given specification.
  6. Safely setup and operate air-carbon arc gouging equipment.
  7. Effectively remove weld metal using air-carbon arc gouging.
