Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

1. Perform basic building evaluations concerning maintenance needs and prioritization.
2. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
3. Perform basic grounds maintenance for park or recreational facilities.
4. Identify noxious weeds and create an eradication schedule.
5. Document maintenance requirements and their activities, costs, and time.

1. Wood structure evaluation and basic carpentry repair techniques.
2. Electrical trouble shooting and repair.
3. Trouble shooting and integrity evaluation of basic building plumbing.
4. Basic plumbing repair and maintenance.
5. Basic grounds maintenance, including pruning.
6. Record keeping of facilities maintenance activities.
