Course Contents

  1. Follow complex directions and ask for clarification in the classroom;
  2. Demonstrate increasing conversation skills in common real-life situations using appropriate vocabulary;
  3. Keep a log to identify main ideas and supporting details from listening materials to prepare summaries;
  4. Prepare and deliver a classroom presentation focusing on research, organization, and use of PowerPoint or other visual aids.
  5. Actively participate in small group discussions and interviews in English;
  6. Demonstrate increased ability to understand and use American English pronunciation.
