 Course Description  

Covers Industrial and Rough Terrain fork trucks in accordance with CFR 1910.178, ANSI standards (B56.1-1969) and ASME (B56.6-1992). The term �rough terrain� is usually applied to forklifts used at construction sites, lumberyards, or other outside areas where the ground has not been improved for use by conventional vehicles. Become familiar with the basic inspection and operation practices and procedures for Class 7 rough terrain forklifts. A 3-year UBC qualification card will be issued upon successful completion. Also designed to assist in acquiring the basic inspection and operation practices and procedures for industrial lift trucks; specifically, internal combustion engine forklifts with solid, cushion, or pneumatic tires. A 3-year UBC qualification card will be issued upon successful completion.
