 Course Description  

Focuses on the regulations established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the scaffold erector�s industry standards and requirements. Provides an entry-level, general awareness of the safety hazards at many of today�s jobsites. Meets the requirements for the OSHA 10-hour training and certification. Successful completion of the First Aid/CPR/AED training will provide a 2-year certification. Also includes Disaster Response Training - the safe steps to take while volunteering your services following a major disaster. After successful completion, the UBC Scaffold User course and qualification certification will be presented.
