 Course Description  

Become familiar with and identify the components used in the assembly of welded frame scaffolding. Introduction to erecting a single bay, multi bay, multi lift, inside/outside corners, rolling tower scaffolds, along with putlogs, i.e. specifically how they are used in today�s industry. Working drawings will be used to estimate the amount of gear needed to complete many hands on projects.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Identify and name the five types of welded frames used today. Familiarize and interpret a Frame Scaffold.
  2. Properly layout and erect a Single bay, Multi bay, Multi lift, Rolling tower, and Bridge with Putlogs.
  3. Perform a proper inspection of all finished Frame projects. Pass a competency based examination of the rules and regulations that pertain to frame and rolling tower scaffolds.
