 Course Description  

Proper use and maintenance of Ramset/Redhead and Hilti brand power actuated tools. Upon successful completion, the student will receive an Operators Certification License for the use of these tools on the job site (as required by the state of Washington). Tools covered are: Hilti DX35, DX350, DX351, DCA40, DXA41, DX460 Ramset. Redhead: Viper, Cobra, SA270, D45A.

  5. Demonstrate the ability to safely utilize each fastening tool to make secure attachments into various materials using the proper fasteners and cartridges.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to disassemble, inspect, clean and maintain the powder actuated tools in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
