 Course Description  

This course is week one of a three week Carpenter Skills Pre-apprenticeship program. Gain proficiency in basic hand and power tools that are used by carpenters in the industry. Learn about jobsite safety, basic concrete formwork, lay out, and construction math. Emphasis on jobsite culture, employability skills, financial literacy. Sexual harassment and discrimination are also part of the three week curriculum.
