 Course Description  

Field project in cooperation with a landowner starting with a proposal performing an ecological survey and analysis, and ending with a written report based on data collected by the student. Includes research in technical journals, and time estimates.

 Prerequisite  

Prerequisite: ENVC 202 and ENVC 210 with a "C" or higher.

Course Contents

  1. All literature used for the course will be researched by the student. The course is a three-step process.
  2. A proposal is written, which is returned to the student for correction, and the proposal is resubmitted.
  3. The student performs the field work.
  4. Data collection, data manipulation and presentation through graphs and tables.
  5. A final report is written and turned in for review.
  6. The report is returned to the student for final completion before submission to the instructor.
