Course Description
Historical perspectives, theory and fundamentals of counseling therapies as related to Human Services agency work. Introduction to evidenced-based and Best Practices models. Development of basic techniques and critical thinking skills appropriate for mental health, chemical dependency and rehabilitation counseling.
