Course Contents

  1. Writing of definitions of Karate, GoJu Ryu, Kiai and kata.
  2. List and demonstrate kicks, blocks and strikes in Kihon I, II, and III.
  3. List and demonstrate techniques in Kihon Ido and Neko Ashi Ido.
  4. Demonstrate katas from Jodan I to Mawashi Uke II.
  5. Demonstrate Gekisai I and II.
  6. Demonstrate Sanchin and Tensho Katas.
  7. Demonstrate 25 knuckle pushups; perform warm up exercises in 20 minutes.
  8. Demonstrate offensive and defensive fighting style against an opponent using contro and clear snapping techniques.
  9. Maintain physical and mental fitness by practicing GOJU RYU karate at least twice a week.
  10. Able to obtain 70% accuracy on a written test.
