Welcome to Fall Quarter 2020

Fall Quarter begins Tuesday, September 22. Classes will be offered mostly online, but we will offer some face-to-face opportunities, including some of our science and workforce labs. SVC offers lots of support services and resources to help you be successful. Technology Resources Available!

Library staff is available to distribute materials on a limited basis. Materials can be picked up at both the Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses.
  • Priority check out for Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) students on September 15 and 16
  • Check out opens for all students on September 17
Library staff will not be on campus or available Friday-Sunday during the Summer quarter. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, visit the Library Checkout page.

Fall Accounts and eLearning Classes

eLearning access note:
If you are not registered for Fall Quarter, you won't be able to access Canvas or any on-campus computer resources until you are registered.  Fall Canvas accounts and classes are available now, but you may not see your classes until the first day of the quarter on September 22. Click here for the Student Guide to Canvas

SID & PIN Instructions

Your SID & PIN are required to access registration, payment & account tools. Your Student ID (SID) is a 9-digit assigned number given to you during the admissions process. Not sure? Look up your SID using the MySVC Student Toolbox.

Your default PIN is your birthday in MMDDYY format. For example, January 1st, 2007 would be: 010107. We suggest you change your PIN from the default for security reasons.

MySVC Edu Apps Login Instructions

These instructions are for logging into Canvas, MySVC email, docs, and calendar. Your MySVC Username is your first initial, last name, and the last four digits of your Student ID.

For Example: John Smith
SID # 740020987
Your username is: jsmith0987
NOTE: When logging in to Canvas or MySVC email, you need to enter your full email address as the username

There is no default MySVC password, you will have to assign yourself a password on the MySVC toolbox here: https://secure.skagit.edu/netpass.asp
