The Skagit Valley College Drama Department begins The Year of Shakespeare with the Fall Quarter production of Measure for Measure Nov. 11-20, set in the round in the Phil Tarro Theatre. This rarely performed tragi-comedy explores the wages of sin, religion, and justice in a world filled with brothels and loose ethics. Slapstick comedy from the morally skewed townsfolk is set against a deadly serious plea to save convicted brother’s life. Will power corrupt a pious leader? Will a brother lose his head? Information?
