Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

1. Perform microscale and semi-microscale organic laboratory techniques, including crystallization, extraction, chromatography, and distillation.
2. Perform green chemistry laboratory techniques, including solvent-free syntheses, the reuse of reagents, and catalysis.
3. Complete lab experiments in organic chemistry, including aldol, halogenation, elimination, addition, and substitution reactions.
