 Course Description  

This practical and basic 28-hour course is required for individuals who give direct care to AASA clients in AASA-licensed adult family homes, adult residential care facilities, state-contracted assisted living facilities or in an individual�s home. The class focuses on correctly performing basic personal care tasks, client rights, important communication and problem-solving skills and protecting the health and safety of clients. Textbook and materials provided.
