 Course Description  

Development of a data management strategy from field collection, processing, to data storage. Emphasis will be given to the use of tablets and cell phones for field collection to server storage.

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

1. Identify appropriate data collection devices and transfer mechanisms for natural resource data collection.
2. Identify an appropriate data storage solution for a natural resource project.
3. Select an appropriate communication application for data management.
