Course Description
Introduction to the safe practices and procedures for access and egress on scaffolding � specifically choosing the proper method and equipment for the task at-hand. In addition to covering the knowledge & skills necessary for scaffolding platforms and components strength and capacity, the student will identify and calculate contributory leg loads and then design his or her own scaffold using information gathered for a specific job. Capacity, duty rating, access, and leg load will all be calculated to successfully complete the design criteria.
