 Course Description  

Focuses on how to erect structure/supported suspended systems quickly and efficiently. Structure/supported suspended systems are being erected to take the place of ground supported scaffolds that used to be erected hundreds of feet tall. With the aid of available anchor points and use of specialty scaffold components, systems scaffold can be used to erect structure/supported suspended scaffolds, which have become a popular choice for erecting these highly elevated scaffold work platforms.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

1. Erect box ties, beam clamp ties, and thru ties to suspend scaffolding. Erect thru ties to suspend a trapeze hanging scaffold.
2. Erect beam clamp ties to suspend a tension cantilever. Erect box ties to suspend a compression cantilever. Erect a large area structure/supported suspended scaffold.
