 Course Description  

Focuses on the assembly of a suspended platform and safe operation of two-point adjustable swing stage suspended from wire rope. Includes proper set up and inspection of wire rope drop lines, estimation of counterweights needed, safe use of fall protection, including how to use and deploy trauma straps, and how to properly set up a basic two point suspended scaffold.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

5. Follow safe rigging practices with suspended scaffolds.
6. Use trauma straps with fall protection to aid in self-rescue.
