 Course Description  

In a team environment, students will employ the skills gained throughout the program to develop products for manufacture and/or make improvements to the manufacturing processes employed in the SVC Production Lab. In addition, students will apply computer-aided automation technology to support continuous improvement efforts within the production environment.

 Prerequisite  

Prerequisite: MANF 227 with a grade of C- or higher.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

1. Develop production solutions for manufacturing processes using automation technologies.
2. Develop control documents adequate to manage and maintain production processes.
3. Produce prototypes using automation technologies adequate for testing and verification to production standards.
4. Demonstrate the proper application of diagnostic testing on prototype products to verify design and process performance to standards.
