 Course Description  

Develop the apprentice insulators� ability to select and use proper means and methods to work safely on a construction site, specifically those requiring the use of Powder Actuated Tools. Fundamentals of First Aid, CPR, AED, PATMI, hand and power tools, knot tying, material handling and placement strategies, plan reading, and OSHA safety models will be taught. Three major conceptual schemes comprise the focus of this course: planning for apprenticeship, implementing core skills, and managing apprenticeship variables.
