 Course Description  

Includes safety instruction, metallurgy, beginning welding, welding symbols, welding machines, torches, fuels vessels, and their applications. Basic welding theory and lab exercises designed to prepare students for an AWS 3-G and 4-G 3/8 inch and/or light gauge welding certification test. Also covers arc welding, oxyacetylene cutting, plasma arc cutting, welding procedures and electrode selection.
