Develop advanced skills using ESRI�s ArcGIS. Learn the basics of the Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst extensions for ArcGIS. Other topics include types of GIS data available and map accuracy standards.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Expand on ArcGIS basics learned during GIS 101 following the latest software developed.
  2. Use advanced editing map features.
  3. Demonstrate the uses of ArcGIS Spatial Analyst & 3D Analyst extensions, including temporal GIS mapping.
  4. Demonstrate use of spatial and attribute data available online for importing into ArcGIS.
  5. Begin coding in Python within ArcGIS Pro to automate various mapping tasks.
