 Course Description  

This class is designed for all fitness levels. Students will be able to design their own Swiss ball and core program at the end of the quarter. This is a hands-on class with an emphasis on strengthening the core and education on injury prevention.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Understand the concepts of core movement and strengthening the major muscles of the body.
  2. Create their own injury prevention, strength, and endurance program using a swiss ball which they can use throughout their life.
  3. Understand how to stretch out all the major muscle groups.
  4. Use and understand the benefits of a swiss ball.
